The Garden Pre-school is a lovely setting where staff inspire the children through many wonderful activities everyday. The outdoor learning is incredible through Forest School classes, where children are able to run and explore nature. The owner is a fully qualified teacher and forest school leader, who my children adore. We feel safe and secure in the knowledge that our children are being challenged and engaged whilst having lots of fun. My children just love it, and never want to leave, the staff are what make the place. So glad we found this little gem of a pre-school.

It is a nice school so many great opportunities for your children to do
Very happy with this school and currently have 2 children attending. So many great opportunities for children of all abilities. I am impressed with many aspects. If you have doubted this school please visit on open days and you may well change your opinion. No one is paid to give good reviews (to the person who wrote remark without reasonable explanation).

Don't believe everything you read- these are people with an axe to grind as is always the case! The changes to the school are long overdue and they have made a significant improvement to the school. All schools have to have rules and I am glad to see the school holding firm to its rules. It is up to us parents to ensure are kids follow the rules instead of moaning about them. The teaching has also improved since the new management took over and even the kids know that now. We live in the local community and everything that has changed, even the behaviour has been brilliant. The staff have done a great job in turning the school around and I have nothing only praise and good things to say about the place. I would recommend the school to other parents. Staff are helpful, friendly and approachable. Keep up the great work and well done everyone.
Slightly ticked off parent. I am slightly tired of some parents leaving comments about uniform. It is so obvious that the school is trying to enforce a policy that sets the tone for an improved learning environment, where students are expected to come to school looking smart and ready to learn. If you have a policy then, to be fair and consistent, you have to stick to it so everyone is clear of the high standard expected. Why don't you just dress your children as per the policy, which makes them nice and smart and ready to learn rather than moaning and complaining about little things you could easily rectify. If a sock is such a non issue then send them to school in the right socks!!! I remember Edenham and the students used to look really scruffy. They now not only look smart but look proud to belong to Orchard Park. My kids are really happy to be there and far from it being a dictatorship, it offers high standards in an incredibly supportive and nurturing learning environment. The behaviour in the school is excellent. Don't listen to the petty complaints about uniform, this school is going places.

I was shocked to read the last review, so I felt it necessary to respond. My son is in his second year at the school and the receptionist has been nothing but friendly, helpful and professional as have all the staff we have dealt with so far. We are really pleased with our son's progress at St Davids and know this is happening in a caring environment. We look forward to our younger son starting next year.
Great School !!!

I had been to this school with my cousin and visited standard 2nd students. Their IQ was above an evergreen student off. U. K. Administration had visitors approach to the future of the carrier of their student. I liked it very much and wish them all success.
I went to school here and oi was the best time of my childhood. My brothers and sister went here to. I learnt to swim here. My mum died in my last year here and I can remember the whole of my class and all the teacher's comforting me. A wonderful school it was and I hope it still is.

This is a wonderful school. The ethos is one of working hard to achieve in a nuturing, positive environment. Use is made of technology and the latest teaching methods. The music department is fantastic with choirs, ensembles, and regular concerts. Music teachers come in from BYMT which is an incredible resource in Bromley. Money is being raised for a new music hub! The art around the school is beautiful, and the school itself is set in lovely grounds with colourful and spacious classrooms. Children are encouraged with positive reward systems and acknowledgements. My children love the school and have made many friends here.
Great school. Teaching and Office staff of very high standard

I have two children here, who are very different but have both done so well and are very happy. My eldest has learning difficulties and autism and the care and education she has received has been outstanding.

I’ve been with Red Gates for over 3 years now. Love working with children with special needs. Its such a shame that a school like this would have adults who are respectful to each other. There are some lovely teachers, but unfortunately the terrible ones leave a bad taste in your mouth. How much does it take to smile back when one smiles at you? Lot of them just stare and walk past like they just saw a piece of furniture. Specially the attitude towards agency staff/ lunchtime assistants are appalling!! And mention politeness in speech which is non-existent!!! If this is how they treat fellow staff, forget how they treat children who are non-verbal. High time they need to be shown how to be pleasant to each other rather than have the worst attitude ever.
Brilliant school.. my son loves it

My son has been attending this school for many years now. It's a one class per year school where everyone knows each other. The staff is always available and are attentive to the needs of the kids. It's a school that focuses on the kids learning and development as well as helping families in need of some attention. Connected to the school they also have a preschool section as well as a special needs unit. Kids go to Red Gates (special needs unit) to interact with their classes as well as Red Gates kids go to the primary school. They also have before and after school clubs. Overall would I recommend it, YES.
